Risk Manager (Remote)

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Risk Manager to join our remote team and help us identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact our operations, reputation, and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment: Identify, analyze, and evaluate risks across all areas of the business, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to minimize exposure to identified risks.
• Risk Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on risk status, trends, and mitigation efforts for senior management and stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to risk management.
• Business Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the organization can respond effectively to disruptions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture and integrate risk management into business processes.
• Monitoring: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
• Training: Provide risk management training and support to employees to enhance their understanding and awareness of potential risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CRM, FRM, PRM) is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in risk management, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
• Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
